- Funded by the Rural Utilities Service of the USDA Rural Development Program, the ACTAT program is a partnership of the US EPA’s National Environmental Services Center, West Virginia University, the University of Kentucky’s Water Resources Research Institute, and TNWRRC at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
- Gives technical support and fiscal management assistance to water and wastewater utilities.
- ACTAT submitted a $1M proposal to USEPA to provide wastewater treatment system technical and fiscal assistance across Tennessee, collaborating with TNWRRC, Tennessee Tech, and the University of Memphis.
